Khehla lives and works in South Africa and over the last 20 years has developed his distinctive style of African Art by adapting traditional African techniques and designs for use in contemporary artworks. Khehla’s works have been exhibited locally and abroad. His African Art is now displayed in many homes, hotels, galleries and corporate offices throughout Europe, the US and Africa. These original textured artworks with raised outline detail are painted on a cotton twill fabric with special emphasis on achieving the warmth of color typical of African Art. The results are exceptional paintings that are both durable and easy to transport and, once framed, resemble pictures made of leaded stained glass.
